x-box has a bigger multiplayer form, you have to pay for it and graphics are different then the older verson and playstation you have to have hdtv or it sucks.
There are some notable differences. The most obvious is that X-Box is from Microsoft, while Playstation is from Sony. The prices of the two systems vary, as do the game libraries to a certain degree.
The biggest difference is the selection of games available. The xbox 360 only play it's and original xbox games. The PS3 plays it's own games, ps1, and ps2 games.
