Normally, they will will run a nerve conduction test or electromylegram which measures the muscles response to electrical impulses while the nerve conduction test measures the electrical flow through the nerves. You may experience small pain from the electrical shocks and the tests may take a couple of hours.

They send electronic pulses to the brain which are measured by the synaptic output of your body. This is a diagnosis of your nervous systems reaction to stimuli. It doesn't hurt but will result in involuntary twitching.

A nerve conduction study is the diagnostic procedure done to find out neuropathy. If it is a diabetic neuropathy then your diabetes must be treated with drugs. You should wear semi hard foot wears for neuropathies. PVC foot wear is the best for neuropathies. Your degree of sensation must also be tested as soon as possible.
