According to studies in the united states of america, the purpose of vit. B12 is to sheath the nerve cells to hasten transmission. It is yet to be proven.

yes injection of high doses b12 suppliment in the form of methycobalamin can cure peripheral neuropathy. it also cure autism due to diabaetics.
