What tendons or ligaments are involved in the big toe?

The primary tendon used for flexion is from the flexor hallucis longus muscle. There is also a tendon from flexor hallucis brevis. The ligaments are only named by the joint.

The interosseous ligament placed between the under surface of the talus and the upper surface of the calcaneum. In eversion the outer border of the foot is rasied and the sole tends to be directed outwards. Tedon of achilles bind muscle to born;these are white glistening,in elastic fibrous bands.
