What suggestions do you have for putting up with a disrespectful husband?

Talk to him about it. Was he always rude to you? Tell him that you have noticed a change in him, and gently point it out each time he does it. Tell him that you are willing to work on the relationship if he is, but it will take effort.

You being a woman have the earned the right to be respected always so yes you should put off your husband who doesn't respect you but before doing this think over the results of this step & if you want you can give your husband a last chance.

I am afraid there is only one solution and this is to leave him. Marriage is based on mutual respect. Anything else is abuse.
