What steps can people take to ensure they do not become dehydrated?

There is only one step to preventing dehydration: drink plenty of water and other fluids. That's it. If it's hot or you're exercising and you're sweating a lot, drink more. Dehydration is a lack of water in the body, and the only that increases the amount of water in your body is drinking water.

Drinking 8 oz of water every hour you are awake will certainly help. Staying away from caffienated drinks, salt, and adequate rehydration during exertion. Eat lots of water based fruits and veggies. If your urine is near clear, you are well hydrated.

One simple step is to drink plenty of liquids. Water,fruit juices and non-caffienated liquids are the best because caffiene depletes the body of water. Another simple step is to eat a healthy diet, one containing plenty of fruits and vegetable which naturally contain healthy liquids. The third simple step is getting plenty of rest so the body can function properly.

make sure to have liquid diet like waterwith sugar and salr and particular lemonade or electral. take maximum rest as possible.

8-8 ounce glasses of water a day is what we need to drink. Everyone varries depending on food intake, climate,etc. Just remind yourself that water flushes toxins out of vital organs, carries nutrients to your cells and provides a moist environment for ear, nose and throat tissues!(waterbottle)
