What should your daily intake of water be?

I am worried that I am not drinking enough water every day.

the average amount of water a person needs depends on how much they weigh and how much activity they do in a given day. about 64 ozs per day is average.

Daily intake of water is recommended at 64 ounces per day. This doesn't have to always include pure water, many juices and other drinks count towards your water intake as they contain a high fraction of water.

You should be drinking at least 8oz. eight times a day. This totals 64oz. However, there are some inconsistencies with this number. For example, if you eat more salt you need more water. Also, if you work out more you will an increase in your water intake.
