The aquarium should be kept anywhere from 70 to 79, but if kept with other aquarium inhabitants, the water should be 75 degree range. Ghost shrimp can handle a wide swing of temperatures and quality but a stable aquarium is breeding grounds and will give you a very nice colony.

The usual acceptable water temperature for Ghost shrimp in the home aquaria is between sixty five and eighty two degrees. This is very easily maintained with a common aquarium heater.

Ghost shrimp are a cold water species, so you don't need to worry about getting a tank heater. Anywhere from 65-80 degrees is fine. Basically, room temperature water. The aquarium lights will be all you need.
