Before you get a dog with border collies or shepherd ancestry understand that these dogs are bread to have a very high energy as well as pronounced herding instinct. While these dogs often do well in households, they need to have lots of room to exercise and care should be taken with introducing them to small children or other pets.

Border-Aussies are very energetic and curious. They are also quite intelligent, as are the two breeds which they come from. Because of this they require a lot of attention, such as walks and command training, to exercise their minds and their bodies.

Just make sure you know what you are up for. Dogs require time and attention. They also need proper care from a Vet and shots. Most people forget about that.
