Typically you do not need any surge protection for a washer. There are no delicate circuit boards in a washer, in fact they are built to withstand a lot abuse.

Washers require a stronger surge protector than the ones that are available on the market. Get a whole house surge protector to ensure protection of such appliances

don no exert overlimiting power on the washers and u must send them for repairs regulary.don not leave the plug near wet area.

Your home should have "ground fault interupt" or GFI cababilities within its electrical circuitry. Call an electrician! Having GFI can save your life.
