Try something such as an odor eater or a dose of baking soda. Most of the bad smell is created by bacteria so you could always try freezing your shoes to kill bacteria.

After washing them thoroughly, ensure that they dry fully so they do not mold. Try coating the inside with baby powder after every use to minimize smell.

After washing, leaving them under the sunlight for a monitored amount of time should help kill the bacteria which causes the odor. Usually for shoes that have been soaked or been work with wet feet, user silica packs to help eliminate moisture thus preventing odor.

Try getting odor eater insoles or their sprays. They may be able to get some more off. Also they to wear cotton socks whenever possible. They'll absorb the sweat and make it less likely for them to smell.
