Phentermine is an appetite suppressant that should be used on a short term basis usually 2-3 weeks. It can be highly addictive. There is no studies that show that there is a link with the drug and infertility. It is not recommended to take during pregnancy or while breast-feeding.

Phentermine has not been proven to cause infertility. If you are going to try to have a child, however, you should ask your doctor about the medication.
