They are relatively low-maintenance. Make sure they have plenty of food or else they will eat whatever is available (including mattresses, lawn mowers, etc).

That they will eat everything in sight! They are wonderful animals for keeping your lawn cut and the weeds eaten back. They also are playful and friendly and will require a fenced in area and a place to get in out of the weather.

Keeping goats can be easy or difficult. if you are trying to keep them in a pen yard make sure you have high enough fence that is stuck in the ground as they will dig

Breeds that make great pets include South African and Pygmy goats. Because goats are herd animals, two or more are recommended. Goats are active and enjoy large grazing spaces. When closed in, they can become destructive, so make sure they have appropriate space (at least 13 feet). Clean shelter, feeding/watering areas and bedding is also important.
