Dear are ruminates that eat corn, vegetables, grass and mushrooms. Don't ever hand feed wild deer, they can be very violent and aggressive.

Morally, you should not be doing it. The reason for that is after a while of feeding this deer, it will become dependent and when you stop feeding it, it might die. Though, if you do wish to feed it, you can leave them apples, bread, any kind of vegetable and they will eat it.

First you should know that feeding white-tail deer is illegal in many places and you can be fined or even go to jail for doing it. If you are feeding them to hunt, it is unsportsmanlike. And even if you aren't they can become a real problem when fed.

It's illegal in some areas, especially City Limits since it attracts deer to the area. They like to eat things like corn.
