When you clip the wing it really should be done by a professional if you are going to do it yourself you need to get advice from a professional so it is done properly otherwise they will be rendered flightless because when you clip the wing you only clip the very tip but it will grow back.

When cutting wings one must be careful not to cut too much off of the tip hence severing blood vessels or clipping the bone.
