There are many types of disabilities. Make a list of the features that best suit your daily life and inform the real estate agent of your "must-haves." Per federal law, your disability is not an issue with regard to restrictions about where you can live or your eligibility for financing.

If you are buying a home and are disabled you should first verify that the real estate that you are purchasing is able to accommodate your needs. For instance, if you are in a wheel chair you'll want to verify that the home is accessible for someone in a wheel chair.

There are a number of considerations, depending on the disability. Spend sufficient time in the home to determine access and practicality. You might invite a contractor to come along to determine what changes might be reasonable.

Make sure the home suits your needs or that it can be remodeled or amended to suit your needs. As for financing, your credit score and income-to-debt ratio are the key factors. The fact that you are disabled is not a point of discussion in any aspect of the process unless you bring it up.

You have to make sure the house is designed for the disabled. For instance if you are in a wheelchair you have to make sure it is wheelchair accessible.

I think just the same.It doesnt matter if your desabled or not.As long as u have the capacity to buy a home. But i think you really have cash on hand because of your situation if you dont have it they will ask if you have the capacity to pay or if you have a regular job and sufficient income
