After a brazilian wax, avoid tight, irritating clothing and underwear; moisturize with a sensitive lotion, such as baby lotion; do not shave or pluck in that area for several days; and be sure to maintain the wax by getting a wax every 8-10 weeks.

Aftercare should be simple and you most probably will not have many after effects. The first time you may be a bit sore and have some redness. Most spas sell creams that help with this and at the same time help slow hair growth. Be gentle with your skin, do not use a loofa or such for 1-2 days.

Make sure that the area is kept clean, and don't shave! Absolutely do not shave the area for at least a week or so. Moisturize as well.

You are going to be very sore after your Brazilian Wax, so you are going to want to invest in some loose fitting cotton panties and a good tube of Aloe Vera lotion even before you go in for your wax. Apply the lotion three times daily and above all, stay away from lace panties for a few days.

You need to be careful for 24 hours after being waxed about being intimate. You skin is very fragile and can tear and bruise very easily.

The most important thing is to make sure you are moisturizing the area daily. Use a strong or deep moisturizing cream. Also, be sure you do not shave for a least week after the waxing. Keeping the area clean is necessary. Be sure you are showering or taking a bath daily.

Keep the area very clean and well moisturized, and exfoliate so that dead skin cells aren't drifting around and clogging up the hair follicles. This should help prevent nasty ingrown hairs. You can get post-waxing care lotions and things that help with soothing, just make sure they are safe for use on that area.

Gentle exfoliation and moisturizing are a must; use a soft puff or washcloth to clean the area with a exfoliating scrub to keep from getting ingrown hairs, I'd recommend any Aveeno or Jafra scrubs, follow up with vitamin E oil and Aloe to moisturize the area and keep the skin from getting irritated when clothing is on.

After getting a brazilian wax you should let your skin heal. Some people experience some skin irritation but the irritation usually goes away quickly.
