Start by washing the car. Then make sure it is not in the sun and the paint surface is cool. Then apply the wax as directed. Typically in a very thin coat. Once it dries carefully buff the wax off with a clean, soft microfiber towel turning/folding it often.

wash the car, dry the car, apply wax on a cool, shaded vehicle in circular motion, let it dry to a whitish haze then remove with a dry cloth.

Turtle wax works best. After you have finished cleaning your car grab a buffer. With the buffer dip it in the turtle wax and apply to the entire car.
