This is not typical. If the baby is sweating, they are over-swaddled or over dressed. Don't let them overheat.

Make sure first off, that they are dressed for the appropriate temperature. Second, see if they have a fever by taking their temperature. If neither, I would always recommend taking him or her to your family doctor just to make sure that everything is okay. Better safe than sorry when it comes to babies.

Make sure that you are not dressing you baby too warmly. You could always use baby powder to keep the feet a little drier.

It is perfectly normal and it is nothing to worry about. A lot of babies sweat just like adults do. Just try your best to keep them comfortable.

Babies are just like big people. When they are warm they will sweat. It is nothing to worry about unless there are other signs of sickness.
