Be prepared to pay around $1500 for a party, like a wedding, of about 50-100 people. That does not include the supplies. Party planners usually are small businesses so there is plenty of room to negotiate and even barter services. If you really need inexpensive, a friend that has a bent towards organization may be able to perform the task.

Depending upon event size and range of the requested services, a party planner may charge an hourly rate, anywhere from $40-75 per hour, or a fee based upon 10-20% of the overall event budget. You may also be able to find a planner who is new to the business and is willing to work for free to build their reputation.

This depends on the type and size of a party. For a large formal event it could be upwards of $10,000, small casual events typically run close to $1,000.

Depending on the size of the party, expect to pay a couple hundred dollars. Often times, they will automatically figure out a set fee to be deducted.

It totally depends on the type of event you are planning and how fancy. Expect about 50$ an hour for the effort they put in, wether it is in direct contact with you or doing work on your behalf.

It depends on how big the party is, the budget, who the planner is with (how well they are known, if they are with an agency, etc.), but on average, expect to pay between $100-$1,000.

It really depends on what type of party you are planning, and who you are hiring. Someone with lots of experience is obviously going to cost more than a rookie.
