You should expect minor surgery to remove a small tissue sample from one or both testicles. This will reveal whether or not you have testicular cancer or fertility problems. The samples are viewed with a microscope by doctors who will then determine a man's ability to make children. Sometimes they can find out why someone is not fertile this way.

You will get anesthesia (general or local, depending on your doctor). In the hospital your doctor will make a small incision and remove a piece of tissue to be examined.

I know you're expecting it will really hurt, but it won't. But what you will feel, that your, private part is numb and feels like it's not part of you will concern you more. Buck up, it will help you and the doctor figure out the problem.

There would be a slight pain and discomfort in undergoing a testicular biopsy. Most men would cringe with the idea of such a medical procedure but this certainly wouldn't affect a man's "dignity" if you know what i mean.
