This depends on whether you have started birth control and whether you are nursing. If you are nursing you will not likely have one for a long time possibly not until you stop nursing and it will most likely be light and similar to periods you had before.

Well, technically your first period is currently going if you just had your c-section. You will be bleeding like this for a month or so. If it is longer or start and stops, see a doctor. Your first flow after this will be normal. Birth control pills help to regulate.

Your first period after a c-section or giving birth is going ot depend on many things, for example if you are breast feeding or not. For the most part you can expect it to return after six to ten weeks.

The first period after a Cesarean section will be heavier than any period you had before the pregnancy. It may also have more cramping than you are accustomed to having.

What kind of birth does not really effect your period. It has more to do with if you breastfeed your new bundle or not. If you are breastfeeding you are more likely not going to get a period for a while, some do not get it until they finish breastfeeding.
