Call up your vet and ask if the symptoms your cat are experiencing are serious. It's better to over-react that to miss your cats opportunity to be treated.

Ailing cats should be taken to the vet for diagnosis and treatment. While cats may recover from illness on their own, many illnesses will get worse and their treatment will be more costly (and perhaps unsuccessful) if diagnosis and treatment are delayed. You need a veterinary diagnosis before proper treatment can be determined.
