What should I do if my parakeet has a tumor?

Is your bird on excess seed diet. Birds with excess seed diet are found with obesity or tumors. Is it a female bird and egg bound? consult your vet immediately.

Take him or her to a vet. It's absolutely vital. Tumors are generally not reversible but, as is the case with humans, many tumors are not cancerous. Most tumors can be surgically removed but, as you can imagine, it's extremely stressful for the bird, so think it through really carefully.

If you have tried our bird fly in out source, and you change the diet, give a fresh food, cooked eggs,and veggies may help as well
