One thing that can be done is a green dye can be injected into eye and an eye dr can use a thermo laser on your eye that will actually burn the tumor which is dyed green. The laser will not burn anything not dyed green, just the dyed tumor.

Tumors behind the eye are treated in several ways depending on their size and exact location. If the tumor is small and young then there are radiation treatments which can be used. One such treatment involves installing a radio active chip within the globe to irradiate the tumor. More severe and aggressive tumors require the removal of the eye.

If you have a tumor behind your eye you need to see a doctor right away. It could be something very serious that would be helped with early treatment or it could be not so serious. The only way to find out is to visit your doctor to get a diagnosis.
