What should I do if my kitten's eye keeps closing?

Sometime, newborn kittens' eyes will remain closed, or partially closed, for several weeks. However, to play it safe, it is best to take your kitten to a vet, just to make sure that s/he doesn't have an eye infection.

Kittens need a lot of sleep. It is possible he is just tired and requires rest. If there is discharge coming from his eyes, take him to the vet.

I have a Purebred Himilayan cat and this happens all the time. Use cotton balls available at any drug store. wet them with lukewarm water and wipe their eyes daily.

The kitten is closing it's eyes because it's probably tired. You can let the kitten sleep for a little while.
