What should I do if my garage door won't close?

Check for and remove any obstructions. See if there is anything the the door may be catching on. Check to make sure the tracks are clear. If you have an electronic door, make sure that the sensors aren't blocked and that they line up properly. Look for any issues with your springs or cables. After that, call a professional.

if your garage door wont close i would unhook it for the electric motor if you have one and if you don't have an electric motor just try unhooking the springs

At the bottom of the door, a transmitter sends an invisible laser across to a receiver. If its blocked, the door won't close. Make sure its aligned and not blocked.
