The easiest way to solve the problem is to remove one third to one fifth of the water, depending on how much salt was added and replace it with fresh water. Make sure the fresh water is chlorine free and at the proper temperature before adding it to the aquarium.

Have the fish survived? If not, empty the aquarium and start over. If they're okay, remove about 10 to 20 percent of the water today and replace it, then do the same in two to three days. Maybe do the same again in two to three more days. Then let it be.

Yes, just do a water change with fresh water. Change up to 50% of the water (make sure to use dechlorinator). Most fish really don't need aquarium salt, a few like it - such as mollies and guppies - but most do not need it at all.

This is not a huge problem. Simply siphon out some water and refill it with freshwater. If your fish are still alive, and you notice them struggling to breathe, try trsnfering them to another tank and empty out the entire tank. Wipe out any residue and refill with clean freshwater.

Switch out the water in large increments, by scooping out the bad salt water, and adding an Aquasafe solution to tap water and replacing with that.

Too much salt can be deadly for you fish. Quickly drain out a lot of the salty water and replace it with clean fresh water.

Start with a fifty percent waer change. This should remove some of the salt. If you still have too much salt in the tank - do another partial water change.

Too much of salt in a fresh water will result in maximum concentration of salt. Hence you can remove some amount of water and dilute the tank water by adding more water to it. Thus your tank will have perfect medium for the fishes in it.

You may be able to dilute the salt well enough by doing multiple partial water changes. If not, a full water change is in order.
