Many women use low doses of yeast infection treatments safely during pregnancy. The baby is protected from medicine on your skin or in the vagina by the amniotic sac, so is only affected by medicines in the bloodstream that can cross the umbilical cord. Ask your OB/GYN to be sure.

Monistat is typically safe for pregnancy. Also, your cervix is closed early in the pregnancy, so even with vaginal suppositories like Monistat, none could make it up inside of the uterus. Your baby should be fine!

No. Monistat is safe to use during pregnancy. Yeast infections are very common throughout pregnancy and Monistat is used to treat them.

It shouldn't have affected the baby. Just don't use it again if you get a Yeast Infection in the future. From now on always ask your doctor before taking ANY medication, even over the counter drugs. However, they will do testing on you and the baby that will tell you if there are any birth defects.
