Taking birth control pills can cause your period to stop. You should not be concerned. Your period will start when you finish taking the 21 days worth.

Be consistent! Once you begin a reign of birth control pills use them just as directed. Your period will adjust accordingly. Give it several months to have a normal regularity to the periods.

You probably shouldn't have started the pill yet. Just ignore your cycle and follow the pill exactly. Your cycle will probably be off schedule next month too. Your body's hormones will eventually adjust to the pill and everything with be fixed in the next few months or so.

If my birth control pills stopped my period and my doctor did not mention this happening, I should call my doctor and ask if this is normal and schedule an appointment to go in if it is not normal.

If you are concerned that you may be pregnant please go visit your doctor. If there is little possibility that you are pregnant there is little cause for concern. When you start birth control pills the hormones can cause your menstrual cycle to fluctuate for many months, in some cases up to a year.

It is normal if you just started birth control pills on your period and it stopped. Be certain you follow the package directions very carefully. Consult with your doctor if you have any questions, and remember not to miss a pill as it will affect your cycle.
