What should I do for my goldfish who is sick with cysts on its fins?

A broad spectrum anti-bacterial agent must be introduced into the tank in order to get rid of the cysts. Temperature must be raised as well as the amount of oxygen circulated throughout the tank. Any treatment plan has to be carried out over a period of time in order solve this particular disorder.

There are remedies such as Rid Ich that work for ich, although goldfish can be cured with salt treatments-one teaspoon salt per gallon of water every 12 hours, three times.

Well they make treatments for that kind of thing, but are you sure that it is cysts on the the fish , because goldfish get a fungus call ick. Ick is little ball like things that fish get on there fins. If thats the cse all you have to do is get ick med.

It seems your goldfish has fungus infection. Among all other fishes, goldfish is one of the most sensitive. Its resisting capacity is poor. Take the affected goldfish out of your tank and put in seperate tank and put some quantity of common salt in the tank. It may become alright.
