A cat who lost a faang will be fine as long as the area does not get infected. Also makes sure they are not in any pain, then they would need to see a vet.

Consult your vet immediately, as this may be a sign of dental infection or disease. The cat should be okay otherwise. It may have a hard time eating dry food, consider feeding it strictly canned food. If the wound where the tooth was is infected, it could lead to complications.

Any tooth loss in cats is a serious medical condition that should be immediately checked out by your veterinarian. If your cat's tooth was knocked out or has broken off, infection or other problems need to be treated with antibiotics. Surgery may be necessary to remove the remaining portion of the tooth and the root.

Cats at a young age will lose teeth just like humans do. So if that's the case don't be alarmed. If your cat is older then there probably isn't much you can do for it.

Take your cat to the local vet ASAP. They will order a battery of tests to determine your cat's health and well being. This should only cost you a few thousand dollars.
