Why have I completely lost my appetite?

I'm starting to lose weight and I'm scared.

Anxiety can be a major cause of no appetite. Low protein levels can cause anxiety and loss of appetite. Try supplementing your diet with flax seed oil, leafy greens and plenty of lean protein such as chicken, fish, beans etc. Jasmine pearl tea is also great at combating anxiety. Getting exercise will relieve stress and help work up an appetite.

Many things can lead you to lose your appetite, sickness, stress and medication to name of a few. Life changes can result in changes as well.

First, you should rule out a medical condition. See your physician for a complete physical exam. If your doctor doesn't turn up any physical ailments, you might want to consider whether you're depressed. If you think you could be, ask your doctor to recommend a good therapist who can help you.

i am experiencing the exact same thing. i am not under any stress (i think),not sick and not on medication. the only thing is that i have someone new in my life. im not thinking of food anymore. changes in your personal life can influence eating habits.

i've been feeling exactly the same lately... the smell or sight of food makes me completely sick, i would suggest that you go to see a doctor, also if you are stressed try get rid of it because that could be another reason... hope you find out what's wrong xXx

well you should start giving time for walks in the evening for at least an hour.if you have less appetite then have 6 meals a day instead of 3,that will maintain your body's balance diet.And yes if your stomach seems to be the reason then consult your family doctor

I have lost my appetite recently, however, I feel it is stress due to losing my father to lung cancer on last month. Sometimes, when I try to eat, I feel sick.

Stress is a BIG factor in losing ones appetite, i'm feeling it right now, I just feel real sick every time i've got food in front of me. It's very odd and I hope to feel better soon!

I lost my appetite several times in the past. Here I go again. I think its stress from all different directions. New person in my life & myjob in that order has caused me to lose weight. I'm already petite. I want something natural to take for lost of appetite.
