What should I do about my boyfriend who is such a penny pincher?

People don't change much, no matter how much others want them to. If you have a boyfriend who is a penny pincher and you don't like that, move on. If you stay with him, you'll be dealing with this issue as long as you're together.

If you're always paying, stop. Talk about what you can both afford, pay your own way, and expect him to do the same. If you're bothered because he's not spending on you -- hey, it's the 21st century. You shouldn't accept it, let alone expect it.

Well the best thing i think you can do is just try to talk to him. Try to make him understand that yes its ok to be extra careful with money, but sometimes its just not that important to be so tight with money for small things you know.

If it is his money, you can't tell him what to do. Give him hints that you want him to take you out. When he sees he can take you out and still afford everything else, he will lighten up. Maybe if you paid sometimes, he will follow suit.
