First try adding water to their food and allowing the food to soak in the water for a couple of minutes. By doing this the food pre-expands and therefor it is easier for the stomach to digest. The other thing you can try is some probiotics or prebiotics.

Treatment of canine malabsorption consists of three main things. If the primary cause of the malabsorption can be identified, this needs to be treated. Dietary modification is also essential, specifically a diet with only one main protein source. The third part of treatment is managing complications caused by the malabsorption. Vitamins and supplements can also be given to help.

You will want to give your puppy a small amount of a high calorie supplement several times an hour to get him the calories he needs.

The vast majority of dog owners have experienced an animal's unusual bowel movements, namely diarrhea. Although some causes of diarrhea are easily fixed, some cases require immediate medical attention.
