It depends on how much you want to spend. Game systems, video games, dvds, itunes card, and sporting equipment are all good gifts.

13 year old boys like to feel like they have freedom. get them money so they can buy whatever they want.

Lots of teens like electronics: (iPod, cellphone) but I'd prefer to buy him a book about his favorite sport or interest. Make sure it is current, lots of photos.
