What should go into homemade bird food?

I have a recipe that you might like, super easy. Peanut butter is the base, roll it with dried corn, berries, and bread crumbs. Wild birds love it!

What you set out will attract certain birds. Berries are great including raisins for Robins, Thrushes, or Cedar Waxwing. Bread for Doves, Sparrows, Blackbirds, and Thrushes. Peanut Butter and dry dog food is good for Chickadees and Sparrows. Fruit will attract Orioles, Thrashers,Cardinals, Buntings, and Finches. No recipe needed.
