You should first say that you understand if you aren't forgiven, but that you will do everything in your power to earn the trust back. Explain why you cheated, but make sure to take all the blame. Never blame your partner for your mistakes.

you can start with 'i'm sorry for' or 'i'm so sorry for' and mention your fault and say that 'this will be my last fault, if it happen again please you can take further action on me' and promise them that you will keep your words and maintain disiplin onwards.
