What rights do I have if my landlord is selling the house that I am renting?

Your rights will vary by state, so you should check with a local attorney. However, assuming that you do not have a lease which grants you additional rights, you will almost certainly have no rights at all if your landlord sells the house. The new landlord can probably increase the rent or even evict you.

It largely depends on what state you live in. The state that i live in without a written lease a renter has basically no rights. The landlord can just say i want my house back and then the renter has to move usually within ninety days. Check your lease to see if you have first option to buy.

That depends on your lease and the state you live in. Usually it just means you'll be paying rent to a new landlord. Meet in person with that person!

our private landlord sold our house to a letting agent soon as there was a for sale sign out side our house without notifcation is this right are we supposed to be notifide in writing? im from england lancashire please help
