What qualities should I look for in women's rain boots?

You want to look for something completely waterproof from top to bottom. A boot made from all rubber is usually the best. Also, they should be tall enough.

Well in looking for rain boots you have to choose on whether you want to put your shoes in it or just wear your socks and use your boots and bring your shoes. Fit the boots and go for comfort then style. If it's not comfortable it isn't worth it.

You need to find boots with a good fit. The material is prone to rubbing, so make sure your heel is flush with the back of the shoe and your toes are not cramped. Most importantly, they need to be water PROOF! Not just water resitant.

I look for a number of things in regards to quality of rain boots. First, I check the brand. Trusted brands are usually good bets. Next, check what the boots are made out of. Materials are crucial in the effectiveness of rain boots. Lastly, I check out customer reviews of the boots in question.

Look for waterproofing and style. You would want to go with a waterproof boot rather than galoshes. Something like that would look good with all attire. Go for a medium heel first and than a higher heel if you can manage that.
