Many agree it's the health care profession that is growing. Nursing homes and hospitals are always seekung help and the work is both challanging and rewarding. Vo-tech schools offer courses for these jobs all the time.

A recent report by U.S. News and World Reports said that the following degrees are in top demand: anything in technology (computer science, programming, networks, security), healthcare (medical, dental, nursing, tech support like radiology, phlebotomy, etc.) engineering (all kinds), and business/accounting. Degrees to avoid: Exercise/fitness, interior design, wildlife/outdoor recreation. Science, medicine and technology are the big fields for the future.

There are a few; the medical field with nurses and receptionists needs people. Also Teaching and Police Departments require bodies and have been out hiring in full force.

Maybe if you studied computer related course like programming, you will probably get a job anywhere since computer related work is all over the world. Technology evolves too fast nowadays.
