What perimeters are used to define the difference between a regular and an occasional consumer of beer?

Typically, a regular consumer of beer will drink beer on a daily basis. An example of this is someone who will have 1-2 beers while watching TV or eating dinner each night. An occasional consumer is more likely to only have a beer while going out someplace nice or on special occasions.

An occasional consumer of beer sticks to delicacy beers and consumers beer beverages in small amounts only once every few months or so. A regular beer consumer can be found to have beers once every few weeks or more. If it is more than special occasions on which one consumers beer, they can be considered a regular consumer.
