I think Sable brushes are more or less the gold standard in the industry, but many synthetics are just as good in my opinion.

Goat, sable, squirrel, or pony hair cosmetice brushes are very good and create flawless finishes. They are strong and hold up to usage over time. Good brushes also have nice sturdy handles that are not flimsy but hold up well with a lot of use. If you invest a little more for a brush you'll get a better quality.
