What kind of testing do you have to go through to get a job in data entry?

I tested for a data entry job once and I had to take a typing test and pass with at least 45 words per minute. I know some places ask you to meet other typing requirements. I just had to pass a few tasks of simply being given data entry instructions and demonstrating I could perform to satisfaction.

There may be a windows compantcy exam where they make sure you know how to use a computer and then usually a list for you to enter into the computer.
