What kind of insulation should I put in my AC vents?

You should use a non fiberglass foam inside of them vents and fiberglass insulation on the exterior of the vent. This will keep it well insulated so that you do not lose any cooling.

There is insulation for AC ductwork. You need a vapor barrier for sure and then you can get some insulation from an AC warehouse or from home depot. But make sure to seal it all properly because if you don't then it will still lose heat.
