I don't really understand what you mean with regular gas but it's usually diesel lsd or ulsd meaning low or ultralow sulfur.
There's also the possibility to use ethanol but i guess it just depends on your boat engine.
Boats typically run normal gas. You should really read you owners manual to know exactly which grade it should be running. Always use the octane rating and type they recommend. Otherwise you risk damaging the engine.
