Like most Native Americans, the Cheyenne people ate the meat that they could catch and whatever fresh, seasonal food was available.

The Cheyenne were a combined nomadic and farming culture. They farmed produce such as corn. The corn they could have used to make flour. With corn flour or corn meal they could make corn bread. They hunted buffalo and deer. They also ate fish. They also ate beans which they grew.
