What kind of fabric is the American flag made out of?

From the knowledge that I have, the american flag is made out of polyester materials. Polyester is a really grand type of fabric. The flag has been made out of that. It's also a mix of cotton materials I believe but who knows what percentage of materials are used in which parts of the flag.

the us fabric is made up of strong closely knitten and tightly wound fabric from all over the world, coming together to form a balance of stars stripes and integrity, honor, courage, devotion and pride are all fabrics that the american flag embodies in all of us that hold it sacred.
