What kind of bags do I need to buy for a Bissell Cleanview?

Bissell Cleanview does not use bags. Consequently it would be a mistake to try to install any kind of bag in the machine. As one of the bagless models of vacuum cleaner, the machine does have internal filters through which the air must pass. With use, these filters may become clogged. Following directions, remove and wash these filters.

Bissell Cleanview makes their own bags, which you can order online or in special appliance stores. WalMart sells a generic bag that fits. I use the generic and it's good.

It depends on the model. Most Bissell Cleanviews' are bagless and you only have to empty out the container. If you find the model on you vacuum, you search for the owners manual online. It will tell you weather or not you need a bag, and if so the bag type.
