What kind of antifreeze is best for a BMW?

Depends on the car most vehicles now are using whats called dex cool and you cant mix conventional antifreeze with it. so check the owners manual to find out what type it takes . there are many good brands out there.

Your best bet is to check the owners manual. As most European cars require low phosphate coolant. Some even go so far as to include distilled water with the 50/50 mix.

If you have a BMW and you need coolant, you should get and use BMW coolant. It is more expensive than regular coolant, but it is made specifically for a BMW and since you already spent the money buying a BMW you may as well use the proper fluids.
